Parent Forum
MINUTES OF PARENT FORUM MEETINGS: DECEMBER 2022, OCTOBER 2022
Our Parent Perception Partnership (parent forum group) is a group of parents at Westerings Primary Academy who have volunteered to support the academy in matters relating to academy improvement. Meeting every term, we look at aspects of school improvement and how this particular stakeholder group can make an impact on. If you are interested in supporting the academy in this way, please contact the academy office and we will keep your details on file for when there are vacancies to join the group.
If you have other concerns or queries, please contact the academy in the usual way.
OUR AIMS:
To help the academy find out what parents think about important issues
To actively involve parents in academy decisions
To consider ways that parents and carers can support the academy in improving outcomes for our pupils.
Our Autumn Survey of all parents yielded some of the following feedback, which will be used at our next meeting as a springboard for future planning. The full report can be obtained via the school office, and will be discussed at our next Parent Forum meeting:

99% positive! This is our highest ever response to this question! 💕
Uniform was by far the most devisive of topics in our survey, with polarised views. This was a priority for our Uniform Review task group in our Parent Forum group, JCC and Academy Council this year. The resulting changes to policy can be found here.
